Education
I’m a sophomore attending the University of Nevada Reno majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Business Administration. I am looking to get my BFA and hopefully get my masters degree. After I finish college, I want to become work as a graphic designer for a reputable company and eventually become an art director. I am super passionate about art, so I hope that I could work in a field that I love one day.
Hobbies
In my free time I love to cook, go on walks, paint, draw, spend time with my boyfriend, and watch horror videos on Youtube. I absolutely love spending hours of the day creating new things. Experimenting with new mediums is always fun especially when certain textures or colors blend nicely. Although painting/drawing something takes a very long time, I find it rewarding when I’ve made something that I’m proud of. While I enjoy drawing, I also like cooking meals from different recipies and serving them to my family so they can try.
Background
I come from a small town that is an hour drive from Las Vegas. I’ve lived there for almost all my life, so it was liberating to finally attend school in a different city where there’s more people, more places to go, and an opportunity to be on my own. I’ve come to love Reno even though it wasn’t my first choice to attend college. If I were to go back in time, I wouldn’t change my decision of attending my state college because I wouldn’t have met all the people I’ve become very close with today.
