Phishing is no joke. I’ve had my instagram hacked because of a phishing scam. I learned a lot about how to avoid it thanks to your post!

Hey Dunia!
Thanks for reading my blog. I’m so sorry that your Instagram account was hacked in the past. I hope you got it back soon. It’s easy to fall for scams online, especially when they seem to be legit. There’s a lot of people who use scams in places where important information is stored. I’m more careful now and recognize the little things that could expose scams. I’m glad you learned something from my post!!

This is a very important issue that you are covering here, especially because, although the specific situations you have mentioned are quite common, they still happen far too often to many people, including some who are not even out of college, just trying to make any amount of money.
Unrelated to the topic at hand, I have also noticed multiple mistakes in your writing, which I have listed below.
– Change “school account was hacked into and administration” to “school account was hacked into, and the administration”
– Change “I had to got through the long” to “I had to go through the long”
– Change “college students, into clicking it so they could” to “college students, into clicking them so they could”
– Change “advertisement, phone call, etc. is trying to scam you.” to “advertisement, phone call, etc., is trying to scam you.”
– Change “situations for money and manipulate them into inputting” to “situations for money and manipulates them into inputting”
– Change “I put my information into a google form that” to “I put my information into a Google form that”
– Change “form that stole my account NSHE information” to “form that stole my NSHE account information.”
– Change “not the pay an 18 year old would receive at their first time job.” to “not the pay an 18-year-old would receive at their first job.”
These are a few corrections you can make in your post, so in future posts you can catch these mistakes and overall create more professional writing moving forward. I hope this helps.-
Hi Cole!
Thanks for replying to my post and reading my blog. I read over my blog carefully and found all of these mistakes. Next time I’ll pay more attention to grammar and spelling before posting.
As for your comment about my blog, I agree that this happens to many people. The situation could’ve been worse where my personal gmail was hacked or my bank information was stolen. I realize it happens to a lot of people who don’t expect that they’ll get scammed because they are so good at pretending to be someone else. I appreciate your time and input!

Hi Clara!
I appreciate you for reading my post. I wanted to spread awareness on this topic and share my own experiences with being scammed. Its not only emails, but phone calls as well. I’ve gotten a lot of scam calls lately. Never answer any of them unless you recognize them and they tell you specific information instead of coming out of nowhere.
